Our pedagogical approach is the result of bringing together the best aspects of a variety of teaching methodologies, philosophies, and environments and has been developed over the past 23 years at  ABC International School in Tokyo. We incorporate elements from the best that research has to offer from educational theorists and psychologists like Maria Montessori, Loris Malaguzzi, Bev Bos.   We incorporate key aspects from world-renowned practices including the Montessori Method, the Reggio Emilia Approach, Waldorf School Principles, EYFS, The Curiosity Approach, and The Wonder League.  Our learning is routed in JOY and preserving the magic of childhood while fostering a lifelong love of learning through presenting meaningful learning opportunities. No worksheets here!  All of our learning experiences are experiential, hands-on, and multidimensional.
